February Newsletter: Love Never Ends

Hello ,

How have you been doing throughout the winter? Here in Pittsburgh, the sun is shining, the snow is melting, and it's a balmy 37 degrees. Could winter be over? Could spring be on its way? In my heart it is, and maybe in yours, too.

My husband Alan and I are making a field trip to Phipps Conservatory in Oakland, a twenty-minute drive from our modest bungalow. The flowers always lift us up and give us happy thoughts. In case you haven't been there, Phipps has many rooms and some outdoor displays, and old plant friends we love to visit there. I will post a few photos of the orchid and bonsai show to give you the idea. Wish you could join us.

Our wedding anniversary was this week, and now Valentine's Day. February, the month of Love. Takes our minds off the weather, doesn't it? The faeries have something to say about love, just meander down to the Faery Corner below. Look for the pink banner.

And so, my dear one, open your heart to love and receive it in all its forms. (I used to chase after romantic love, being incredibly silly in those days.) I'm pretty sure that love reaches out to you each day, and if you start noticing it, more floods in.

BE GRATEFUL.

It's our new superpower. It's cropping up in magazines and online blogs, but I have been practicing this for years now. Being grateful can improve your life and your health, boosting all forms of abundance.

Here's how it works: whatever you focus on, you get more of. So, if you dwell on what you don't want, can't get, or your fears and worries, that's what you get more of. Who wants that?

Keeping a gratitude journal can get that positive flow returning to you. You might try 3 to 10 entries daily and truly be grateful for all the moments of your life. Feeling the emotion of gratitude in your body seals it all into place. You can use this to call in your best and highest life. Honest.

MAMA EARTH LOVES YOU

The faeries, or little nature angels, take care of the plants and animals, tending them like caring mothers. You can see or sense them under the right conditions. Haven't you gone outside on a beautiful, sun-soaked day and felt the glory of the earth? It feels so good that you're bursting with happiness and love. Ever feel the wonder of seeing a rainbow? That's the power of our greatest mother, the planet we live on.

The faeries want us to partake of earth's love. I use flower essences, which carry the energetic imprint of the flowers, to release emotions. Many people believe that stones have an energetic imprint to help us with our journey. The animals can send us messages, even in the wild. Just Google the animal that appears to you and you can find information about this totem animal.

And that's not even counting our pets at home. My animals have taught me so much and would give me even more information if I slowed down and paid attention more. Love is all around us, and love never ends, just changes forms, as all else does in this world of ours.

The faeries want you to enjoy your days, so please go outside so Mama Earth can spread her love on you.
