LESSONS ON PLANET EARTH
Hello ,
Welcome aboard to all who have joined us
this past month. Stay tuned for plenty of fun, quirky stories, and great reads ahead.
How was your summer? Did you travel or find a great new author or novel? I have returned to an old favorite and am reading Agatha Christie mysteries, which should keep me busy for quite a while. I'm also reading the Her Royal Spyness Series by Rhys Bowen, British upstairs-downstairs novels set in the 1930's about
Lady Georgiana Rannoch, a poor relative of royal lineage and her mysterious, sometimes romantic, adventures. Both novelists shine with twists and turns of plot and well-developed senses of humor. So murder mystery really doesn't have to be serious business! (At least not the fictional kind.)
And let's face it, a good laugh goes a long way these days. You can never get too
many.
The life lessons keep rolling down the pike here on planet earth. (And frankly, we don't even get the summer off!) I hope your earth school lessons are gentle and fun, for I believe we are here to learn and enjoy. Suffering is highly overrated.
Do you enjoy reading about a fun protagonist and buddies and their
continuing adventures? Look for free fantasy and sci-fi reads below that will introduce you to novel series. I will also be sending out an email in a few weeks with gifts from two of my mentors and friends. These are amazing ladies. Honest.
Sending you much love, joy, and peaceful, sunny days,
Cathy
