INSTANT TRIP TO HAWAII

This novel from my Lilith & the Faeries Series reflects trips I've taken to the Hawaiian islands. I write about swimming with the wild spinner dolphins in Kealakekua Bay off the Big Island of Hawaii because I've done it myself.

So for an exotic trip (minus the packing, long airplane ride, finding someone to watch the pets, and all those expenses), consider giving this one a read. It's fun and full of adventure. Take me to Hawaii.

TAKE IT EASY

We've had heat and humidity here in Pittsburgh lately. It might seem like a no-brainer, but nature is telling us to chill out, take a breather, to not go at it so furiously.

Slowing down and taking pauses don't seem to be the American way. But it is the way of Mama Earth. Just as a river has pools and eddies, so we need that quiet time to reflect and rejuvenate.

So if your heart tells you to be idle, pay attention. It's okay, in fact, just about right to pace yourself to flow through these summer days with the greatest of ease.

    FAERIES REVEALED

I recently spent a day at Lily Dale, New York, a spiritualist community that offers workshops and quiet retreat. The Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull workshop was fascinating as told by Bill Homann, its present caretaker. But even more interesting was that the faeries came through for me during the class.

One lady showed me a photo her friend had taken, complete with a prominent light figure. With its wings and arms and legs, it certainly looked like a faery.

Another lady displayed a video of a little dancing orb that she took one night. The story evolved, though, as she talked with the entity, saying, "I believe in you. I love you." The orb grew bigger and took the shape of a butterfly made of light, which was something I'd never seen before!
