EXPECT ABUNDANCE AND JOY

Hello ,

Why the yellow lilies? I am taking a course on abundance from my beloved mentor, Robert Reeves, Hay House author and angel teacher from Australia. He teaches that yellow lilies carry the energy of abundance and will help bring that into your life. You don't have to have the actual flowers, but can just connect with their energy by looking at a photo. (In fact, lilies are toxic to cats, so I wouldn't want to have them in my house.) So look at the photo with the intention of receiving abundance and you are on your way.

It's not just about the money. True abundance involves having a spirit-led life. Eating well, enjoying your work, finding pleasure in the present moment. I have learned in the past few years that you can have a happy life without running around. There's an important link between abundance and joy.

Did you look back on 2023 to appraise what all happened? Even though my personal story involved some chaos and backtracking, overall, 2023 was a good year. All is well. I give thanks for the adventures and look forward to an abundant 2024. Wishing you great abundance and joy this coming year.

PS. I've been writing short stories and playing with a new Lilith & the Faeries novel, but the unicorns won't leave me alone. They have pranced into every story I am currently writing, shining brightly and radiating good cheer and helpfulness. So, for me, this is the year of the unicorn.

If any of you read fantasy and sci-fi magazines and can recommend any in particular, please reply to this letter and let me know. I would appreciate your expert help! I am hoping to get some stories out this year.

BACK TO BASICS: USE FOOD AS MEDICINE

I will come back to this periodically because it is SO IMPORTANT. As one wise person once said, you can't out supplement a poor diet. In other words, the most vital part of healing or wellness care is diet that nourishes and can be used by the body. And it doesn't have to be a chore.

Take one baby step at a time to vibrant health. Processed foods can be called Franken-food. Our guts don't know what to do with them. They are deficient in nutrients and hard to digest. Using the 80/20 ratio means you can still have them, but only as 20% of your intake.

You can lower your animal protein intake, introduce fresh organic vegetables and fruits, limit processed sugar, try getting off gluten, use healthy fats like coconut oil and avocado oil, do juicing of vegetables and fruits, eat cultured foods, and so on. Do it at your own pace, but soon your taste buds will welcome the new diet and you will be on your way to a healthier, happier year. And true abundance.

BACK TO BASICS: SET INTENTION

Instead of fumbling around in the dark, set your intention for each activity, workday, goal, whatever you do throughout your day. For whatever is important for you. This is the perfect time to set intentions for 2024.

You're giving the powers that be a headline that way and making your wishes known, whether you write it down, speak it out loud, or just think about it in a commanding way. Setting intentions sends the energy forth (with or without a magic wand). Energy flows where attention goes.

And may all your dearest intentions come true, or something even better.
