WHATCHA READIN'?

This is my editorial assistant, Cato. I would like to start a new feature in my newsletter where you, the reader, tell me about a book that knocked your socks off. If you've read a book lately that made your heart sing, send me a photo of the cover and tell me why you liked it. I am hoping to get a response from those of you on my email list. Are you out there? Is anybody reading this stuff I humbly offer for your delight and amusement???

I will start first. I got this book at Northland Library here in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. I don't know this author and have no affiliation with her. This mystery sparkles with fun: the dialogue, characters, and crazy situations. She has two best friends who take her to a psychic on her 40th birthday, after which ghosts and mysteries invade her life. There's a man who enters the picture as well for this widow who lost her husband in a tragic accident. The story's very uplifiting, so I highly recommmend An Enchanting Case of Spirits by Melissa Holtz. 

JUST WHAT'S GOING ON THESE DAYS??? 

There seem to have been a lot of infections in people around me, my friends and family. Two have Lyme's disease, two have urinary tract bugs, and another has a full-blown viral pneumonia. Is there something going on in the heavens? What has been your experience? I hope you don't know what I am talking about.  All I can imagine is that they are clearing their bodies to make way for more light. And we are also fast approaching the summer solstice, when the day is longest of the year, night shortest. 

Just hang in tight if you are one of the infected and know that we are all evolving and growing stronger and brighter in spite of how it might seem to you right now. Take good care of yourself and allow yourself to rest and recuperate. Be gentle with yourself as if you were a beloved child. You are!
