WHAT ARE YOU FEEDING?

From time to time, I will offer information about the microbiome and healing the gut because as Hippocrates once said, "All disease begins in the gut." And no, I wasn't actually there to hear him say it. Maybe he wrote it down somewhere.

Our Standard Modern Diet has created imbalances in our gut bacteria and viruses in the body. If you eat lots of sugar, processed foods, bad fats and fried foods, meat, and acidifying foods and drinks, you are feeding the bad bacteria and viruses in yur body. Whatever you feed grows and takes over.

The bacteria, yeasts (like Candida) and viruses (Epstein Barr, e.g.) aren't bad in themselves, but if fed regularly will thrive and their overgrowth will create chaos in your body in the form of disease and unpleasant symptoms.

So please consider making small changes toward a mostly plant-based whole foods diet. This cornerstone of health will lead you toward a happier, healthier future. And the food tastes really good! Honest. Come on over and I'll fix you some greens.

    WHO ARE YOUR HEROES?

Remember that this is from the perspective of the race of faery folk some might call the Sidhe. As we all grow and evolve, rapidly nowadays, our world is changing. Those of us who help with the spiritual awakening movement are pointing the way to the New Earth, a world that's kinder and gentler. I believe there have been golden ages on the earth before, and that what we are aiming for is cooperation instead of competition. We will work together to fix problems instead of waging war on one another. 

So, instead of heroes who shoot and kill others, triumphing over the bad guys, we are moving toward a life of adventure and learning about all sorts of things.Our definition of hero will certainly change.

But I do have to admit that I love all those old Bruce Willis movies. Sigh. Change will happen over time.
