AREN'T YOU THANKFUL THAT YOU AREN'T A TURKEY?

Hello ,

I just finished reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. She's the lady who wrote Eat, Pray, Love. Her non-fiction book, Big Magic, weaves a story about the creative life. The information rings true with me, but it's so entertaining and funny that almost anyone would love it.

But on to the magic of gratitude. I know I've touched on this before, but it will lift you up and set you on the highest road of your good. Especially when all is falling apart and you'd like to cuss and scream. ( Do that first, and then move into gratitude mode.) I like to mention this at Thanksgiving, but every day I give thanks. There's always something to be grateful for. And as I work to establish my author career, I have learned to give thanks for what I hope to see in my life: the Big Dream. A VAGUS NERVE TECHNIQUE TO HELP RELAX YOU

The Peace Maker – slide your hands apart so that both palms are facing as you bring the heel of your hands together and place it under your chin keeping your forearms together. Now place your middle finger behind the ear lobe at TW 17 (or TH 17) “Vagus Gateway/Hole/ Notch”. (See graphic below.) Your ring finger at the opening of the ear. Your index finger will wrap around the back of your neck and the thumb will be resting gently along each side of your neck/throat area (SCM Muscle) where your palms are now covering both sides of your throat where the vagus nerve passes.

Relax and breathe into this. Do this for a minute or two (or more) and sense your body being grateful for this helpful vagal action to get you through the holidays.

YOU ARE BECOMING MORE LIKE THE FAE EVERY DAY

With all the lovely light pouring in, we are all growing and evolving. That is what the metaphysical teachers are all saying these days.
