I hope you are enjoying your summer (winter in the southern hemisphere). I've expanded my garden this year. Instead of just the usual tomatoes, green beans, and cucumbers, I was inspired to add in eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, and bell pepper plants. It must have been the faeries!

A few of the plants I chose seemed particularly cute and happy. The happy bell pepper that had blossoms on it when I bought it has already produced a good-sized pepper. Can plants actually be happy? Seemed that way to me. You'll have to spend time with yours and make your own decision on that one.

My popular supernatural romantic mystery, Murder Through the Looking-Glass, is drastically reduced (gasp!) for a week through June 22. See below. I'm told my books are relaxing beach reads. They do transport you to another place and time and feature fun characters and dialogue. Other book promos and tips follow, as well.

Above all, please enjoy the sun's warmth and all the critters out and moving about. Lots of rabbits, squirrels, and chipmunks in my neighborhood. The deer sneak out at night and nibble at the gardens that aren't fenced in. Have a great summer!

There's repetition and balance in nature's way, a harmony that's often missing in our man-created world. And recently Eckhart Tolle spoke of spending time in nature instead of spending all of one's time in the world created by man: inside buildings, on electronic devices, and so forth.

So, what it all boils down to is, you can find greater peace and harmony by connecting with nature, our great teacher. This is the time of year to spend hours outside. The faeries are waiting for you to visit.
