No, it's not the year of the phoenix, but we are moving into a year where we begin to rebuild and rise from the ashes. The fire energy is strong this year, according to Qigong Master Chunyi Lin, and next month I will talk about this year of the Fire Horse.

Already, the energies of our world are feeling more on an even keel for many of us. We had a lovely spring like day yesterday here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, after many cold and snowy winter days. It's lovely to have a temporary reprieve from winter to stoke the inner fires.

I hope your year is starting out with peace and joy, and that 2026, whatever it brings, will be one of wonderful transformation as we continue our spiritual journeys. I trust and pray for our protection, especially here in the troubled USA. I pray that our nation will live in harmony and respect with the universe and other nations.

DRAGONS ARE WITH ME

I don't think I've mentioned my current work in progress. It all started with a notion that I wrote in another life in the 1500's. And then I read my friend Caroline Oceana Ryan's book about dragons, The Spirit of the Dragon Tribes. I imagined that my protagonist had a dragon that helped her in that lifetime named Aubergine. I am enjoying the story and hope at some point you will, too.

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, winter gives us a time to go inward. So, if you find yourself needing more rest, or you just need to piddle around, let yourself get rested and prepare for the next season, for in the spiring we will be ready to grow and blossom again. There really is a cyclical nature to our seasons that require a different approach for each.
