MAMA NATURE TAKES OVER MY YARD!
Hello ,
If you don't believe in the power of nature, you can just take note of what's been going on in my yard. Our stargazer lilies bloom every summer around the beginning of July, but not this year. Early in the season the deer decided to end that and nipped them all down low before they could even bud. That's strike one. And then we put out suet chunks for the birds, hanging in our front yard, which also disappeared. Poof! Looks like another
win for the deer, strike two.
But the craziest of all was that I was trying to reinforce our rickety metal fence around the vegetable garden, and in the midst of that I discovered a rabbit nestled down in leaves I hadn't yet removed from one side. She shot through an incredibly small gap between the fence wires, and left behind some wriggling little bundles of
joy. I didn't go too close, but it looks like we have a nest of baby bunnies inside our garden. A sort of bed and breakfast for rabbits. So, I just laugh about it all and wait for the next sign to appear. Obviously, I am not in charge of my yard and garden, just a mere onlooker and chronicler of events.
So, what's growing in your garden? Below are book promos,
my own promo, and some tips for you. I hope you are having lots of fun, whatever the season where you are, and laughing at whatever comes next.
